Welcome aboard a fascinating journey through the many worlds of Karnataka. Embark on a luxurious voyage of discovery through the Cradle of Stone Architecture. It’s 7 Nights / 8 Days colorful journey begins every Monday from Bangalore and traverses through Mysore, visiting Srirangapatnam, Mysore Palace; the Nagarhole National Park (Kabini) and continuing to the historical sites of Shravanabelagola, Belur-the 11th century cradle of Hoysala architecture and a world heritage site, Halebid, Hampi and thereafter entering into the triangular heritage site of Badami, Pattadakal, Aihole and finally the Golden Beaches of Goa before ending in Bangalore.

Monday Bangalore (Travel Info : Blr -Mys train ride: 3 hrs)
Arrival at Blue Ginger Taj Westend. 1300 hrs. Check-in formalities. Lunch at Blue Ginger. Departure for sightseeing to Vidhana Soudha, Lal Bagh St.Mark’s Cathedral with some spare time for shopping at MG Road. 1800 hrs. Leave for Yeshwantpur Railway Station by coach. Welcome with garland and Tikka at The Golden Chariot . Bar opens. Dinner Arrive in Mysore on Monday late night.

Tuesday Mysore
Breakfast on Board. Train remains at Mysore. Assemble at the Station. Departure for sightseeing to Srirangapatnam and Daria Daulat Fort by coach. Lunch at Regaalis. Sightseeing of Chamundi Hills by coach. Sightseeing of Mysore Palace by coach. Tea and Trip to Rangayana Kala Mandir for Cultural Show by coach. Bar opens. Dinner and overnight at the train.

Wednesday Kabini (Travel Info : 2hr bus ride from Mysore to Kabini)
Breakfast on Board. Train remains at Mysore. Assemble at the Station. Departure for sightseeing to Kabini by coach. Tea / Coffee. Boat ride. Lunch at Kabini. Wildlife movie. Peaceful walk with nature. Jungle safari in jeeps. Back to the resort. Departure to board the The Golden Chariot for dinner by coach. Bar opens. Dinner.

Thursday Hassan (Travel info Mys - Hassan train ride: 2 hrs)
Leave for Hassan. Train remains at Hassan. 45 min bus ride from Hassan to each destination. Breakfast on board. Arrival at Hassan and drive to Halebid by coach. Arrival at Halebid for temple visit. Drive to Belur. Sightseeing of Belur. Drive to The Golden Chariot for lunch on board. Lunch on board. Departure for Shravanabelagola. Drive to The Golden Chariot. Bar opens. Dinner. Train departs for Hospet (overnight journey).

Friday Hospet
Arrival at Hospet. Hampi is 45 min bus ride from Hospet. Train remains at Hospet station. Breakfast on board. Departure for Hampi by coach. Arrival at Hampi – Sightseeing Mustard Seed Ganesha, Virupaksha temple, Krishna Bazaar, Linga, Queens Bath and the fort. Drive to The Golden Chariot for lunch. Lunch on board. Drive by coach to Hampi again – Sightseeing of Hazama temple, Lotus fort and elephant stable. Tea / coffee break at KSTDC guest house. Drive to Vittala temple complex. Cultural show at the temple complex. Tea / coffee. Sound and light show inside the temple complex. Drive to The Golden Chariot for dinner. Bar opens. Dinner.

Saturday Gadag (Aihole) Pattadakal Badami (Travel Info : Hospet-Gadag train ride: 2 hrs. Gadag – Goa : Overnight travel)
Train departs for Gadag. Train is stationed at Gadag. Badami is 2hrs bus ride from Gadag. Breakfast on board. Arrival at Gadag. Drive by coach to Hotel Badami Court for tea / coffee. Drive to Aihole. Arrival at Aihole for sightseeing. Drive by coach to Pattadakal. Arrival at Pattadakal for sightseeing. Drive to Hotel Badami Court for lunch. Drive to Badami Caves. Drive to Hotel Badami Court for tea / coffee. Depart to The Golden Chariot. Train departs for Goa. Bar opens. Dinner.

Sunday Goa
Arrival at Vasco Railway Station. Breakfast on board. Drive to Candolim beach by coach at The Taj Holiday Village. Arrival at the beach, sun bathe and relax on the beach. Lunch at Caravela – Taj Holiday Village. Sightseeing of Old Goa churches and Museum. Drive to Solas De Colacos. Visit an old Portuguese house and have tea / coffee break. Drive back by coach through Miramar beach and Panjim City. Reach the station to board The Golden Chariot and depart for Bangalore. Bar opens. Dinner Train leaves for Bangalore at night.

Monday Bangalore
Breakfast on board. 1200 hrs arrival at Bangalore.

Tariff

Golden Chariot train departs every Monday from Bangalore Yashwantpur Railway station in the evening.
(The train does not operate between 15th June to 16th August).

The Tariff includes:
Tariff is inclusive of accommodation on board The Golden Chariot/ travel/all meals / Conducted Sight-seeing Tours/ Entrance fees at Monuments / Parks / Palaces and Cultural Programmes.

The Tariff does not includes:

Drinks, tips, laundry, telephone calls, video camera fees, SPA Car, Business Car Facilities, liquor and other items of personal nature.

Reservation

• 50% of ticket value at the time of confirming the booking.
• Remaining 50% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.

Cancellation
(a) In case of FITs

1. 5% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
2. 20% of ticket value 30-59 days prior to departure.
3. 100% of ticket value between less than 30 days prior to departure.
   

(b) In case of Group and Charter

1. 10% of ticket value 60 days prior to departure.
2. 100% of ticket value between 0 to 59 days prior to departure.
