Day 01 Delhi ( Arr.)
Arrive Delhi. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight Hotel
 
Day 02 Delhi - Varanasi
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of the city covering Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Lunch at the hotel. Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for Varanasi. Dinner on board. Overnight Train.
 
Day 03 Varanasi (Arr.)
Early morning arrival at Varanasi. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. After wash & change have breakfast. After lunch visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Tulsi Manak Temple. Later drive to Sarnath (10 kms.) Here in Deer Park, Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, after he attained the enlightenment. The ruins, museum and temples are all within walking distance. Back to the hotel. Dinner and Overnight Hotel.
 
Day 04 Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Early morning enjoy the boat ride on River Ganges Back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Bodhgaya [250 Km. 06 Hrs.] Check in to Hotel. After lunch visit Mahabodhi Temple. This temple stands east to the Bodhi Tree under which Lord Buddha had attained enlightenment. Evening back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 05 Bodhgaya
After breakfast visit Tibetan, Thai, Myanmar, Chinese, Bhutanese and Sri Lankan Monasteries and Sujata Village. Back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch the day is free to relax. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 06 Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Patna
After an early breakfast drive to Rajgir ( 100 Km./03 hrs.) Visit Vulture Peak- a place where Lord Buddha set in motion his second wheel of Law. Visit Bimbsar Jail- where King Bimbisar was imprisoned by his impatient son and heir Ajatshatru. Visit Venu Ban- Site of the monastery Venuvana Vihar built by King Bimbisar for Lord Buddha to reside. Lunch at Rajgir. Later drive to Nalanda (12 Kms/25 min.] Visit Ancient Buddhist University and Museum. Drive to Patna ( 90 Kms/03 hrs) Arrive Patna and check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day07 Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar
After breakfast drive to Vaishali ( 65 Kms/.02 hrs). Visit Ruins of Monasteries, Garden Stupa and Lion Pillar. Packed lunch while on the tour. Later drive to Kushinagar (225 Kms/ 06 hrs] Kushinagar, one of the principal centers of Buddhist pilgrimage, is the place where Lord Buddha left his corporeal self and attained Mahaparinirvana. Check in to Hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 08 Kushinagar - Lumbini
After breakfast visit Ramabhar Stupa and Mahaparinirvana Temple. Ramabhar Stupa rises to a height of 49 ft. It marks the site where Lord Buddha was cremated. The Nirvana temple houses the 6 mtrs long statue of reclining Buddha. After lunch drive to Lumbini (200 Kms/05 hrs), the birth place of Lord Buddha. This nativity site, identified by Emperor Ashoka's commemorative pillar is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 09 Lumbini - Sravasti
After breakfast visit the birth place of Lord Buddha , Ashokan Pillar and Maya Devi ( the mother of Lord Buddha) Temple. The main attraction at Lumbini remains the Sacred Garden spread over 8 sq km. and possessing all the treasures of the historic area. The Mayadevi Temple is the main attraction for the pilgrims and archaeologists alike. Standing west to the Mayadevi Temple is the oldest monument of Nepal, the Ashokan Pillar erected by Emperor Ashoka in 294 BC. to commemorate his pilgrimage to the sacred site. To the south of the Pillar, there is a sacred pond called Pushkarni, where Queen Mayadevi had taken a bath just before giving birth to the Buddha. Back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch drive to Sravasti (200 Kms/05 hrs) via Kapilvastu .Visit Stupa and Ruins of Suddodhan 's Palace. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 10 Sravasti - Lucknow
After breakfast visit Jetavan , Angulimal Cave and Lotus Tank. Back to the hotel for lunch. Thereafter drive to Lucknow (200 Kms/04hrs). Arrive Lucknow and check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 11 Lucknow - Delhi
After breakfast visit the Bara Imambara and Rumi Darwaza. Bara Imambara was built by Nawab( King) Asaf-ud-Daulah in 1784 and is one of the architectural highlights of the era. Rumi Darwaza- this colossal, ornate gateway is said to be a facsimile of one of the gates of Constantinople. Later transfer to the railway station to board train for Delhi. Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 12 Delhi - Agra
Morning transfer to the railway station to board train Shatabdi Express 2002 dep 0600 hrs. for Agra. Breakfast on board. Arrive Agra at 0755 hrs. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel. After wash and change visit the Taj Mahal- one of the seven wonders of the World, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his queen Mumtaz Mahal in 1632 AD. Visit the Red Fort and the tomb of Itmad- ud- Daulah. The Red Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD is a masterpiece of design and construction. Itmad- ud- Daulah's Tomb was built by Empress Noor Jahan, in memory of her father, Ghias-ud- Din Beg in 1622 AD. Afternoon return to the hotel for lunch. Post lunch free for shopping. Dinner and overnight Hotel.
 
Day 13 Agra - Delhi
Morning after breakfast sightseeing of Fatehpur Sikri. Perched atop a rocky ridge 37 kms. west of Agra, Fatehpur Sikri was built by Emperor Akbar as the first Planned city in Indo- Islamic architecture. Built in red sandstone, Fatehpur Sikri was abandoned 14 years after its creations. A shortage of water is believed to be the reason. The enclosures of the palace are Diwan-I- Am, Diwan-I- Khas, Jodhabai's Palace, Salim Chisti' Tomb, Hawa Mahal, Buland Darwaza etc. Afternoon come back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch relax. Evening transfer to the railway station to board train Shatabdi Express 2002 dep 2010 hrs. for Delhi. Dinner on board. Arrive Delhi at 2250 hrs. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Hotel/Airport for onward flight connection as desired.
