travelers care passionately about the communities and
environments they explore and want to spend time within
other cultures to become part of a new community to experience
life from a different perspective. Thus developed the
new way of travel - “Volunteer
Tourism” applying to those travellers who,
for various reasons, volunteer in an organized way to
undertake holidays that might involve aiding some groups
in society.
In travelling as volunteers, the travelers who are
wanting an alternative to commercial tourism, have a
chance to get to know the local village people and take
in rural life and understand the culture and lifestyle
much better.
Keeping this in mind we organise trips whereby the
traveler can work side-by-side with local people, connect
with others from around the world and even take out
time for personal adventure and can continue their journey
through India.
The projects we work with as placements for our voulunteer
travelers regardless of whether it focuses on education,
healthcare, or community development has human welfare
as its motivation. |
